What We do, and How We do it
And the toys always break by the time you get them home.
–Tim Hawkins on The Dollar Store.
In a world of “fast fashion” and items that don’t seem to hold up, Dressed Lilies strives to stand apart with toys, accessories, jewelry, and even home helpers that endure and stand the test of time.
We believe nothing is more precious than an heirloom — something that has seen generations before you and will see generations after you. It’s why we offer free repairs — so you don’t have to buy the same thing more than once. So you can know we’re confident in the quality of the pieces we sell.
We believe that things made by hand hold more meaning, memories, and tend to hold up better than items that are mass-produced. It’s why we sell crochet — something unduplicatable by a machine. It’s why we sell styles and techniques that have been used for generations. It’s why we offer “try your hand” lessons — so that you can make your gifts that much more heartfelt.
We believe that pieces with stories hold more value than something you can just buy off a shelf with a hundred more in the magical place called “the back.” It’s why each of our stuffies come with an origin story that ties into a greater narrative being written by a close friend of our founder.
It’s why we believe that the lilies of the field hold a certain beauty that’s lacking in today’s day and age — endurance and simplicity. Every piece we make is done by hand and with a few tricks to make sure safety eyes stay in, quality holds, and memories continue being made.

Products and Patterns
Every product has the applicable pattern linked on its page (so long as the link is still live). Why? Because we know that not everyone has the finances to buy a finished product, and — if you’re like us — you prefer to be able to gift someone a thing you made, yourself.
We are in no way affiliated with the different websites linked, except insofar as we made and are selling products from their patterns.
If you see a pattern where we linked the wrong originator of the pattern, or where we link the wrong page of the pattern, please contact us (dressedlilies@gmail.com) and we’ll get that sorted out as fast as we can!
