Cabled Newsboy Hat
These scarves come in a couple styles:
- Team spirit
- Solid
And, in shape:
- Cowl/Infinity
- Straight
The red, pink, and brown scarves shown are made of a wool blend similar to this one. (This wasn’t where I bought it. It was on clearance there, when I bought it, so there’s no longer a sales page up for it.)
The team spirit scarves shown are made of acrylic yarn.
The wool blend makes sure the scarves are warm enough for a Wisconsin winter. The acrylic yarn isn’t as heavy-duty, but will still keep you warm. Either way, these scarves are soft and pliable, making them more comfortable to wear.
The wrap-around wool-blend scarves may appear too skinny when you’re looking at them. When you wrap them around your neck, however, you do find out that you likely won’t want them any thicker. Unless you are looking for a neck brace. In this case, I would recommend something other than a crochet scarf. 🙂
Ordering process
To order your scarf email me at dressedlilies@gmail.com, and we’ll get all the details sorted out! 🙂
As always, you are welcome to place a custom order, although I’ve had a hard time finding this specific wool blend yarn locally, so the timing on that is liable to be quite a bit longer.
(If you’re like me, you’re not here for the product but the pattern. Well, my dears, these scarves are made from the following lovely people:
- The team spirit fringed scarf was made a while ago, but I believe it came from this pattern by Fiber Flux.
- I don’t remember where the pattern for the team spirit cowl scarf came from. If I find it, I will update this.
- The chunky scarf is a simple rectangle of single crochets. To make it a cowl, stitch the ends together.
Have fun, and happy making!)
